Coffee, tea, sugar, milk, Welsh butter, and home-baked Bara Brith are ready to enjoy when you arrive, and the village pub is only 100m away serving excellent home-cooked food.  At weekends, enjoy a drink with a cake and meet locals at the Malwen village shop or visit Bodnant Farm foods open every day to stock up on local produce.

The Barn has views onto open fields and a private gated courtyard garden with a barbecue and undercover seating area.  Guests to the Barn are also welcome to enjoy the gardens at Llanerch y Felin that have been lovingly restored and developed over the last 15 years.

A truly historic setting – Llanerch y Felin is a grade II* listed Snowdonia farmhouse, built in 1565 and the oldest house in the village of Rowen. The Barn is the perfect stopover for vintage car enthusiasts, or garden lovers on a garden tour with Bodnant Gardens close by, Gwydyr Castle, Plas Cadnant, Plas Brondanw, and Portmeirion all within a 40-minute drive away.  Alternatively, take a break from the road and follow one of the many walking routes from Rowen to neighbouring villages or up into the Carneddau mountains.

Situated in the north of the Snowdonia National Park, Rowen is a peaceful village that is also easily accessible. Guests will find coastal and mountain scenery to explore, history and culture to learn about and local food to enjoy in this friendly rural community.
