The Snowdonia National Park Centre at Plas Tan y Bwlch, in the heart of the National Park, is a study and visitor centre for lovers of the countryside who are looking to learn more about this amazing area.
The centre offers courses covering all aspects of the countryside, history and crafts as well as hosting a wide range of other events and celebrations. We have accommodation and meeting rooms, making us ideal for corporate and group events. We also have an interesting exhibition area, that hosts a program of art from local artists, along with a compelling display of artefacts from archaeological digs.
If you’re a visitor to the Snowdonia National Park, then we are the ideal location to take a break. Enjoy a walk in the historic Victorian gardens and woodland where you will see some of the most ancient and largest trees growing anywhere in the UK.
Enjoy a peaceful snack overlooking the valleys and forests of Snowdonia. In our tea rooms (open from Easter to October) you’ll find light refreshments and our speciality home-made cakes.
We’re easy to get to from the A487 just a few miles East of Porthmadog.
