At 27 miles long, The Conwy Valley Railway line offers one of the most beautifully scenic railway experiences in Britain. From your departure point in Llandudno to your arrival at Blaenau Ffestiniog, a breath-taking range of scenery unfolds outside your carriage window.

On departing Llandudno, we pass the historic castle at Conwy, and make our way through the wildlife rich Conwy estuary, to gentle slopes that give way to the dramatic Gethin’s Viaduct.

On your trip, you’ll glimpse fairy-tale landscapes, the imposing 12th century Dolwyddelan Castle plus the ancient quarries, tracks, forests and peaks of Snowdonia, before entering the heart of the mountain to emerge in the imposing and historic Blaenau Ffestiniog.

You can hop on and off the train to experience amazing attractions and the many interesting places to see, stay and eat. This flexibility and choice means we really do offer you the opportunity for a full day out as part of your Snowdonia 360 itinerary.
